This tour shows some of the best the bay has to offer!  Start your day with a scenic 40-minute ferry ride through the Bay of Islands to the spectacular Otehei Bay. Enjoy a coffee as you prepare for your kayaking adventure around Urupukapuka Island exploring the amazing environment, where every stroke of your paddle unveils a world of wonders. 

This tour has a blend of exploration and relaxation designed to immerse you in the vibrant marine world.  Led by experienced guides, you’ll navigate through hidden coves and secret bays, explore nearby islands and discover remote beaches inaccessible by land.

We’ll stop at one of the amazing beaches where you can gear up for snorkeling or simply take a refreshing swim. Dive into the crystal-clear waters to discover Aotearoa’s unique marine life, you may even catch a glimpse of an Eagle Ray gliding effortlessly beside you.

On our return to Otehei Bay we’ll stop and meet the local snapper, then, once we’re back on shore, take some time to unwind before enjoying a delicious meal at the café – you’ll have earned it!

This isn’t just a tour, it’s an immersion into the heart of Aotearoa.

Ferry departs Paihia at 8.30am (Russell 8.40am) 

Ferry departs Otehei Bay at 4.15pm 

Kayak Tours start at 9.45am or 12.45pm.
